International cooperation
Bilateral cooperation with France, Poland and Hungary
The Federal Administrative Court has particularly close ties to the supreme administrative courts of France, Poland and Hungary. Its partner courts are the Conseil d'État of France, the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland and the Curia of Hungary. A joint seminar takes place every two years to discuss current topics of administrative law and law of administrative court procedure. On a regular basis, a selected judge visits the respective partner court as a visiting judge. The courts continuously exchange materials and publications. Due to the contact and travel restrictions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, the seminars scheduled in Leipzig for 2020 and 2021 could not take place.
