Around 150 members of staff work at the Federal Administrative Court, aside from the judges. Court administration has interesting positions for various professions in the administrative department, the registry, information services and the department for external relations, including for

  • senior judicial officers

  • administrative clerks

  • IT specialists

  • specialists in media and information services and

  • judicial officers.

Apprenticeship

The Federal Administrative Court accepts apprentices in the following processions:

  • specialists in media and information services, special subject: library management
  • IT specialists in system integration with additional qualification.

The dual training lasts three years. It usually begins on 1 September each year. Vacancies for apprentices are posted on this website in autumn of the previous year.

Internships

The Federal Administrative Court offers internships to students of library and information studies as part of the practical semester. Kindly include with your application a letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae and copies of your general qualifications for university entrance, as well as all records of your studies.

Internships are not available to law students. The Federal Administrative Court is not eligible as an optional part of the legal traineeship.

School internships

Court administration offers internship positions for students attending secondary, middle and grammar school. Kindly include with your application a letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae and a copy of your most recent school report.
